Versailles Announces New Name - Releases New Single

Some time ago, Versailles announced that due to legal reasons they would be changing the band's name. They received an overwhelming response to their request for fans to submit suggestions for their new name. Combining a few of the suggested names, the band decided to change their name to "Versailles -Philharmonic Quintet-".
The first single released under the new band name is entitled "Prince". To thank the fans for all of their creative submissions, "Prince" is being made available to fans as a free download through HearJapan.com. With every download the band is notified of the location of the downloader to aid in future tour planning purposes, so by downloading through HearJapan, fans will have a better chance of seeing Versailles -Philharmonic Quintet- play near them. YOSHIKI To Make Announcement Concerning Future of X JAPAN

Tomorrow YOSHIKI will hold a press conference in Japan where he will make an announcement about the activities of X JAPAN in the near future and the projects which he produces. To thank the fans, X JAPAN will give away "Memorial of the start for the world tour, X JAPAN Street ARMY T-shirt" to the first 3,000 people by lot. They have requested that fans who wish to be included in the drawing bring evidence that they are a fan (CD, concert brochure, merchandise, etc.).
